Goals and Objectives

-Heighten awareness of racial justice and reconciliation as a global issue, while honoring the memory of Bishop Primo.

-Hold an annual lecture in his name, with an international/national leader recognized for furthering the cause of racial justice and reconciliation as guest lecturer. The lecture will include a panel of nationally recognized advocates for racial justice and reconciliation.

-Stimulate open, ongoing dialogue on racial issues, leading to positive change in this community.

-Maximize opportunities for the community to interact with guest lecturers and panelists through questions and answers, events and the Internet (e-mail, video conferencing), etc.

-Maximize media coverage of the lecture to increase ticket sales.

-Use web technology and other means to maximize distribution of material lectures throughout the community.

-Actively recruit educational and other institutions to participate in the development and presentation of the lectures, and in the distribution of related materials.
